Once in an age long forgotten, darkness ruled over the earth and mankind was enslaved by evil beasts and monsters that inhabited the earth. No one dared to raise a hand against their powerful masters.

Then one day, a young boy about 17 years old, decided to fight back against the hated monsters. Using tools that seemed not of this world, and skills not found in normal humans, he, in secret began to forge weapons to fight and empower the human race.

Many in his village thought him mad, dangerous or a sorcerer. Using tools powered by great magic (electricity), and only the strongest, purest, materials (maple and alder wood), he forged the greatest weapons ever seen by human or monster eyes.

In the war that followed, only the greatest Heroes wielded his blades, striking down evil, until most of the world was free from the tyrannical rule of the monsters.

Even after the monsters had been destroyed, there was still the danger that they would return. So the Great Forger, as he came to be known, continued to make his great battle blades, storing them in a hidden place never to be found by a non-warrior, lest they be used for evil. For only a person pure of heart and wise in mind could discover them, should they ever be needed again.

It has been this humble Scribe's privilege and pleasure to arrange a brief history of each Sword created by the Great Forger.
